Ho Chi Minh City, 15th November 2025 – From today to 23rd November, the “Ambassador Of National Progress” Award, launched by Saigon Beer – Alcohol – Beverage Corporation (SABECO), in collaboration with Dai Doan Ket newspaper and under the strategic guidance from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), has officially opened the online voting portal to determine the 15 most outstanding individuals from 150 nominees nationwide.
Online voting is now available on the award’s official website: https://150ydisanvuoncao.sabeco.com.vn. Visitors can explore the inspiring stories of the shortlisted nominees and cast their votes for the most deserving individual. Each participant, upon registering with an email address, is entitled to cast one vote per candidate and may vote for multiple candidates throughout the campaign period.
The “Ambassador Of National Progress” Award was established to honor 150 exemplary individuals across Vietnam – daily heroes who have made extraordinary contributions to the country’s development. These individuals embody the spirit of resilience, unity, and progress that SABECO continues to honor throughout its 150-year history of growth.
After over a month of coordination across the national and provincial levels of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system, the program has compiled nominations from all provinces and cities nationwide. The evaluation and verification process was conducted under the close supervision of the VFF Central Committee to ensure representation and social equity across gender, age, ethnicity, religion, region, and professional backgrounds.
From this list of nominations, the Selection Committee carefully reviewed and selected 150 inspiring individuals across the country who have made impactful contributions across six key areas:
- Education & Vocational Training: Recognizing individuals who enhance community ability through education, skills training, career guidance, or learning opportunities for disadvantaged groups.\Environmental Sustainability: Honoring those who champion environmental protection, natural resource conservation, and sustainable living or production practices.
- Healthy & Balanced Living: Celebrating individuals who promote active, balanced lifestyles and foster a culture of holistic well-being and social responsibility.
- Community Development: Recognizing those who create positive change and enrich rural cultural life through community projects and initiatives.
- Culture, Arts & Sports for the Community: Honoring those who preserve national identity, promote traditional culture or folk arts, or develop community sports that foster unity, health, and positive living.
- Science & Technology for the Community: Acknowledging technological and scientific innovations that support sustainable community development.
The Selection Committee, comprising representatives from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, SABECO leadership, and experts across various fields, was established to ensure the credibility and transparency of the selection process. The award’s criteria have also been carefully designed to ensure fairness and inclusivity, prioritizing grassroots changemakers, individuals whose impactful work may not have been widely publicized or previously recognized at national or international levels.
Based on a weighted scoring system, with 70% from online voting and 30% from the Central Evaluation Council’s assessment, the 15 National Ambassadors of Progress will be selected and honored at the Award Ceremony in Hanoi.
