Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO) received the prestigious “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” award at the HR Asia Awards 2026 ceremony held on July 9. Organized annually by HR Asia magazine, the awards honor companies with outstanding human capital management practices across the region.
According to SABECO, this year’s accolade recognizes the company's ongoing efforts to foster a positive workplace, invest in employee development, and strengthen workforce engagement.
The recognition reflects SABECO’s long-term commitment to people development through its WARM (Willing - Able - Ready - Motivated) framework. This people management model focuses on four key pillars: building a workforce that embraces the company culture (Willing), continuously enhancing professional capabilities (Able), developing a strong leadership pipeline (Ready), and creating an environment where employees are motivated to grow and thrive with the organization (Motivated).
Ms. Tran Kim Nga, Member of the Board of Directors, said the HR Asia Award is a testament to the collective strength of nearly 8,000 SABECO employees across 36 breweries and affiliated companies nationwide. She also expressed confidence that SABECO people will continue to uphold the company's core values and support its ambition to grow on the international stage.
In 2025, SABECO successfully delivered 224 training programs, attracting 19,102 participations and totaling 71,025 training hours across the organization. The company also launched its Future Leaders Program to build a strong succession pipeline. An internal survey conducted in 2025 showed an employee engagement rate of 98%.
Looking ahead to the 2026-2030 period, SABECO aims to further foster a more diverse and inclusive workplace. The company plans to increase female representation in leadership positions and strengthen awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) among its management teams.
